You should see your new tool palettes.if not, right click the vertical gray bar again, and select your group from the list. Right click the group when you are done and select Set Current, and Close. Autocad will not allow you to select all the palettes at once, you have to drag them individually. Name the group, then drag each of your palettes and drop onto the new group. On the right side, collapse all of the OOB palette groups, right click in a blank area and select New Group. If you scroll down the list on the left side, you should see the palettes you created. Right click the tool palettes vertical gray bar on the left side of palettes. Click Browse, and navigate to the server folder where you published your palettes. Expand Tool Palettes File Locations, then click the Add button on the right side. Create a catalog in Content Browser and populate with all of your palettes, then right click the catalog and publish to some place on your server, and close content browser.īefore proceeding any further, be sure that you have no Project Navigator project open, or the palette group you are about to create will become associated with it, and your palettes will disappear when you close that project. ![]() If you are in a networked environment with mapped drives, there is another way to share tool palettes. AutoCAD Architecture shares tool palettes via Tool Catalogs which you create in a completly different manner. If you check the help file you're in you'll see it says AutoCAD User's Guide. That's the way to share tool palettes in vanilla AutoCAD.
